Include the app version and scan reference if shown. Never send passwords, sign-in codes, reset links or private photos to explain a problem. A description is usually enough to start.

Pick up where you left off

Sign in using your existing method and choose Continue cleaning. Reconnect and retry saving if the app reports unsynced changes. Photo previews stay on the device where they were created; they do not sync with your account and expire after their retention window.

A scan is still pending

Reconnect and let Mess Map check its status. Avoid submitting the same scan again while its outcome is uncertain. An analysis that already started may continue after you leave the screen.

Camera or photo trouble

Check camera access in your device settings, or choose an existing photo. Review selected images before submitting. Keep faces, private documents and sensitive details out of them.

Delete your account

In the iOS app, open Profile/Settings → Delete account, type the requested confirmation and follow the sign-in steps. This initiates actual account deletion, not just sign-out. If you cannot access the app, email us for deletion assistance; we may need to verify your identity.

Deletion removes the authentication account, sessions, saved progress, accessible plan content, XP/check-ins and this device's account previews. Some accounting/security records and unresolved operational evidence remain as explained in the Privacy Policy. Camera-roll originals, copies you shared and copies on another device are not immediately deleted by this action.

Your Google third-party connection can be removed separately in Google Account settings. Apple grant revocation is not yet implemented in the current beta deletion flow. Deleting your Mess Map account should not be taken as confirmation that an Apple or Google connection was revoked.

If something looks unsafe, skip it

AI can make mistakes. Mess Map is a cleaning guide, not a safety inspection. Leave hazards alone and get appropriate help.
